Cabinet Construction: Innovation, Technology and You!

EA is built for you, the working pro. We have listened to you and created cabinets that meet your demands. Every EA cabinet has the following features:

EA’s unique and innovative covering is made up of three layers of epoxy resin and a single layer of polyurethane. This covering is far superior to the vinyl and carpet coverings now being used my most manufacturers. EA’s resin coating can be cleaned, like new, with just a damp cloth. EA’s resin covering will not pill (you can throw away your old clothes shaver) or attract pet hair. EA’s resin covering will not absorb odors like vinyl and carpet. Wouldn’t it be amazing if you finally arrived home from a club gig and you, your car and your home didn’t smell like that club because your speaker cabinet didn’t take it home with you. That is a refreshing thought (in more ways than one).

All of EA’s speaker cabinets are now built from imported Poplar plywood. Poplar gives the same structural integrity as Birch but with a 40% weight savings. As EA endorser, Mike Dimin has been known to say, “I don’t get paid to play, I get paid for cartage.” We should probably not tell the club owners, where Mike plays, that his rig now weighs considerably less than it used to.

All of EA’s cabinets have two cup handles integrated in the side of the cabinet. Additionally, there is a third, spring-loaded handle located on the bottom that does double duty as a tilt-back stand.

EA is the only manufacturer currently producing Transmission Line Cabinets. Transmission Lines cabinets offer a bigger sound in a smaller cabinet. The use of Transmission Line in Musical Instrument applications is rare. The associated design, engineering and construction details make it unappealing for other manufacturers. At EA, we believe that it is the only way! The construction of EA’s Transmission Line cabinets takes precision unmatched in the industry. Click here for information about Transmission Lines.

At EA, we’ve listened to you. You wanted a bigger sound in a smaller package. You wanted a cabinet that was easily transported. You wanted a cabinet that was durable and was not susceptible to the club environment. EA’s innovation and superior design and engineering met your challenge.
